About the role
We are seeking an experienced Land Data Analyst to support a large-scale land data conversion initiative in Houston, Texas. This is a fully in-office position responsible for reviewing, organizing, and maintaining land records while ensuring accurate alignment between legal documents and GIS parcel data.
What you'll bring
- Experience with land records administration, land documentation, or land data management
- Demonstrated experience linking land documents to the appropriate parcel(s) within GIS or other complex land management systems.
- Experience interpreting and mapping legal descriptions, plats, alignment sheets, and surface ownership information.
- Working knowledge of land title concepts and land agreements, including easements, deeds, permits, ordinances, leases, and assignments.
- Experience using GIS software (ESRI products or similar), Google Earth, deed plotting software, or comparable land mapping applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work on-site in Houston, Texas.
