About the role
Ameriprise Financial is looking to add a Paralegal to the team! This position will focus primarily on supporting the Columbia Threadneedle Investments registered investment companies. Under the direction of an attorney, responsible for performing on-going legal and regulatory related activities with respect to the registered investment companies. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location.
What you'll bring
- Associates degree plus paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
- One to three years’ relevant experience.
- Ability to interpret, analyze and apply legal requirements applicable to registered investment companies.
- Mature, professional demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to successfully manage several ongoing assignments.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing and problem-solving skills.
- Dedicated team player.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience supporting an asset management business is preferred
