About the role

The New Hire Onboarding Specialist is a seasonal, part-time, on-call role responsible for facilitating in-person new hire orientations at various company locations. This individual serves as the first point of contact for new employees and plays a critical role in delivering a positive onboarding experience while ensuring compliance with hiring and employment requirements. This role requires flexibility, responsiveness, and the ability to travel on short notice to assigned locations. Regular availability is required on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to support scheduled onboarding sessions.

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in onboarding, HR support, administrative coordination, or similar roles
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle compliance-related documentation
• Ability to travel locally and be available on short notice (including next-day assignments)
• Comfortable using HR systems and general computer applications
• Experience with I-9 verification and onboarding compliance processes
• Experience conducting orientations or group facilitation
• Familiarity with drug testing procedures
• preferably Workday
