About the role

The Research Assistant supports CITL by researching, synthesizing, and organizing current best practices in higher education pedagogy and andragogy. The student will help translate scholarly literature and emerging trends into accessible resources that inform CITL's programming and faculty development initiatives.

What you'll bring

• The candidate will perform most/all job duties in dependently with weekly check-ins on campus.
• Hours may vary depending on the job requirements
• however, the total number of hours a student employee may work per week is 20 hou rs.
• This position requires up to 5 hours per week.
• Applicants must be able to work independently, manage their time effectively, and communicate research findings clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• Applicants must demonstrate strong research and writing skills and a genuine interest in higher education, teaching, and learning.
• Minimum 2.5 overall GPA
• Strong academic writing and research skills
• Ability to synthesize and summarize scholarly literature
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior coursework in education, psychology, communications, or a related field is a plus
