About the role

The Plumbing Authority is one of Knoxville's fastest-growing plumbing companies, and we're looking for a creative, outgoing, and ambitious Content Creator & Social Media Marketing Intern to help us build one of the strongest social media brands in East Tennessee. We're looking for someone who wants to take ownership of our social media presence , create content that stands out, build relationships throughout the community, and help us become the plumbing company everyone recognizes online.

What you'll bring

• Experience managing or growing social media accounts for a business, organization, or personal brand.
• Experience with CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software.
• Photography and videography experience.
• Graphic design experience using Canva.
• Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related coursework is a plus but not required.
• Currently enrolled in a college, university, or technical program, or a recent graduate.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the Knoxville area for content creation and community events.
• Imagine you started working with us next week.
• Tell us three creative content ideas you would create for a plumbing company, including at least one idea involving a partnership with another local Knoxville business or community event.
• We're looking for creativity more than perfection.
