JOIN OUR LAKE MARY DRIVER TEAM! Hiring Part-Time Seasonal Delivery Drivers - Scheduled to Work During School Year Peaks, Scheduled Off when Schools are Closed Pay = $32/Hour Class A CDL and Tractor Trailer Experience Required We are currently in search of Part-time Seasonal CDL A Delivery Drivers to help us deliver fairs out of our Lake Mary, FL branch.   Scholastic drivers are home every weekend and the majority of weeknights. In certain markets, drivers can expect one to two overnight routes per week during peak periods. In the event that they do take an overnight route, drivers are provided with a choice of hotel accommodations and a $50 meal allowance.

What you'll bring

• Verifiable commercial driving experience of at least one (1) year required with at least 40,000 miles of verifiable commercial CDL “A” tractor trailer driving experience and delivery experience
• Minimum of twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Possess valid CDL A license with air brake endorsement.
• CDL A must be validated through recertification with an approved Driving School
• Must pass a drug screen/alcohol screen, Motor Vehicle Record review, criminal background review, and a DOT physical examination indicating physical essential functions of job can be performed as required.
• Must be able to drive vehicle weighing in excess of 26,001 GVW and trailers in excess of 10,000 lbs. with a total combined GVW up to 80,000 lbs.
• Customer service orientated.
• The FMCSA requires commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers to be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
