About the role

We’re looking for a part-time enthusiastic Artistic Swimming Assistant Coach to join our team and lead athletes to success both in and out of the pool. You’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of artistic swimmers. You'll lead practices, choreograph routines, and travel with athletes to competitions, fostering a culture of excellence, sportsmanship, and personal growth. This position is ideal for a motivated, creative, and organized professional with a strong background in synchronized swimming and a commitment to athlete development. This is a full-time, fully on-site position at our club in Portland, OR.

What you'll bring

• Certification Readiness: CPR and First Aid certifications, and CCP Level 1 or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Completion of concussion management training within 60 days.
• Competitive Experience: Background in competitive artistic (synchronized) swimming.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with platforms like TeamSnap, ISS, and common office software.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills to build strong relationships with swimmers and families.
• Motivational Drive: Proven ability to motivate and encourage athletes of varying skill levels.
• Team-Oriented Mindset: Ability to collaborate effectively with coaching staff and club members.
