About the role
Our clients do not predominantly require nursing care. The Client Advocate RN is responsible for identifying educational needs for clients and staff in areas including but not limited to diagnosis, vitals monitoring, BG monitoring, daily weights, medical equipment, medications, and wounds. This role involves collaborating with the client's medical team, identifying opportunities for improving environmental safety, and assessing the client's health status and trends to maintain optimum health.

- Active California RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year recent experience working with persons with developmental disabilities.
- Proven experience in nursing
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive working relationship
- Commitment to maintaining HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
- preferably with exposure to a community or outpatient setting.
