About the role

CMTS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support aviation, transportation, and public infrastructure capital improvement projects at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). The Project Manager will lead projects from planning and design through construction and closeout while ensuring delivery aligns with client expectations, operational requirements, budget constraints, and schedule commitments. This role will oversee project coordination efforts involving contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, client representatives, and internal project teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, technical, and project delivery skills with experience managing complex public sector or infrastructure projects in active operational environments.

  • What You’ll Need to Get the Job Done
  • 15 years of project management experience supporting aviation, transportation, infrastructure, or public sector capital improvement projects
  • Strong understanding of project management principles including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, risk management, contract administration, and stakeholder coordination
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, consultants, and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of construction processes, project delivery methods, phasing strategies, and operational coordination requirements
  • Experience reviewing and managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, contractor pay applications, and project controls documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive project execution and team collaboration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive summaries, reports, presentations, and client correspondence
