About the role
This position will report to the Federal Program Manager and will be responsible for managing assigned projects and task orders from initiation through completion. The selected candidate will coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, monitor project scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality, and support compliance with client requirements, federal regulations, and AECOM standards. The Federal Project Manager will work closely with the Federal Program Manager, technical discipline leads, project controls staff, subcontractors, and clients to support successful project delivery. What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, project management, or a related field, plus at least eight years of relevant project management or project delivery experience, or demonstrated equivalency of education and experience.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Drug testing will be required for this position.
- Experience supporting or managing architectural, engineering, environmental, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience monitoring project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in preparing project documentation, reports, meeting materials, and client communications.
- Ability to work independently with guidance and periodic oversight from the Federal Program Manager.
- Experience managing projects under indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contracts or multi-award task-order contracts.
- Familiarity with federal acquisition requirements, design standards, quality-control procedures, and project documentation.
- Experience with project financial management, forecasting, invoicing, and cash-flow monitoring.
