About the role

About the Role: This is a float role and will cover Brenham and Woodlands primarily- with occasional coverage to South Clinics (Clear Lake, Cypress, Sugar Land, and West University) locations. This position is mileage reimbursement eligible. The Medical Receptionist (Patient Services Coordinator) is responsible for greeting patients upon arrival, signing them in for their appointment, obtaining insurance information, providing forms, processing payments, and scheduling appointments.

What you'll bring

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Must be willing to travel to other clinics, as needed in the Houston market.
• 2+ years’ experience in medical assisting or administration.
• This is a float position
• the person in this role must be able to support the regional clinics, as needed.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on importance.
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills, as well as interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.
• Familiarity with ECW a plus.
• Associate degree preferred
