About the role
The position is 100% administrative/phone work and will not be providing patient facing direct care. The office is located on the main campus. Shifts will be a combination of either 5 8's or 4 10's depending on the scheduling need. There are no weekends or holidays. After 6 months of successfully working independent in the role, may work from home 1-2 days per week.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher required.
- For positions that are identified as difficult to fill, CNO may allow approval for hiring of candidates with Associates degree in nursing with equivalent experience in lieu of BSN or above.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients/families, physicians and hospital staff.
- Special certifications may be required by the department.
- Bachelor's Degree: Nursing (Required)
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of RN practice experience to receive an interview and ambulatory or Ophthalmology experience is preferred.
