About the role
Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working in a laboratory environment where quality and accuracy are critical? Astro Pak is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support our laboratory operations by preparing chemicals, collecting samples, maintaining cleanroom standards, and assisting with cleanliness verification testing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory or cleanroom experience who takes pride in following precise procedures and delivering high-quality work. As a Laboratory Technician I, you'll play an important role in supporting laboratory testing and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in a cleanroom and/or laboratory environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to following documented procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic math skills, including ratios, percentages, and measurements.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to meet U.S. Export Control requirements.
- wet chemistry preferred.
