Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic back-office internal Corporate Software Developer , who is fueled by high accountability, execution horsepower, and driven to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond. Since Axiom Space is a very complex work environment, we are looking for a resilient, high-energy back-office internal Corporate Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain critical enterprise software systems that support our organization's internal operations. In this role, you will partner closely with Business Systems Analysts, subject matter experts, and various departments to understand business requirements and deliver robust, scalable solutions that streamline processes and improve operational efficiency. You will also be expected to thoughtfully leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve code quality without compromising security or compliance standards.

- The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong proficiency in at least two modern programming languages.
- Demonstrated experience developing enterprise applications, integrations with ERP systems, and working with relational databases.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices, with emphasis on secure development practices.
- Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and web service development, including design, implementation, and integration with enterprise systems.
- Experience with API security, including authentication mechanisms and secure data transmission.
- Strong knowledge of secure coding principles, threat modeling, and common vulnerability prevention.
- Experience with code review processes focused on security and compliance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
