About the role
8x8 is looking for an experienced Java Programmer. Primarily responsible for building mission critical web services and applications.
What you'll bring
- Master’s in Computer Science or related technical field (In lieu of Master degree, 6 years relevant work experience).
- 3 years Server side Java development (JEE internals: Collections, Classloading, Memory/Transaction Management/Connection pools
- Spring MVC, Hibernate)
- 2 years of experience creating Web services, REST API’s
- 2 years of Experience with RDBMS (Oracle or MySQL), NoSQL
- 1 year of experience in Scrum/Agile development
- Familiarity with Jira and SVN
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Experience with Mobile and Web applications development (HTML5/CSS3/Angular JS/Sass/Foundation/EASEL JS)
- Experience with PBX, Cloud based communications would be preferred, but not required
- Integration experience with ecommerce applications, Payment processing and billing systems
- Knowledge of Big data/Hbase
