About the role
This is a temporary, seasonal part-time position that will be filled as soon as possible with an anticipated end date of early-May, 2027. The position has an anticipated work schedule of approximately 25 hours per week, but hours may vary depending on the needs of the department and the training schedule of the assigned teams. During the Fall 2026 semester, the set daily hours will be a combination of 5:30 - 9:00am and/or 2:00-6:00pm, Monday - Friday. The Assistant Coach assists the Head Coach with the organization and administration of all aspects of the Strength and Conditioning program, including coaching and training, student-athlete retention, and mentoring student-athletes.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience.
- Strength and Conditioning certification required in conjunction with NCAA rules and regulations.
- First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
- Masters degree.
- Professional collegiate athletics experience.
- Facility supervision experience.
- Blood Borne Pathogen Training certification.
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification.
