About the role
The Driver is responsible for operating a box truck to pick up donated items, including small furniture, household goods, clothing, and other miscellaneous items, from donors. This position requires excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with donors, as well as the ability to safely lift and load heavy items onto the vehicle. The Driver also maintains accurate records of all donations, including donor information, item descriptions, and quantities, ensuring all items are securely transported to the Company’s warehouse or designated locations. Overall, the Driver plays a key role in the organization's mission by collecting donations that are converted into funds for our charitable partners. This position requires a dependable and organized individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Flexibility: The nature of this role requires a high degree of flexibility. Employees may be asked to switch tasks based on operational needs. Employees are expected to work in all areas as assigned, contributing to a well-rounded and collaborative team environment.
What you'll bring
- Valid driver’s license.
