About the role

We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins. Under limited supervision, welds metal components together with brazing and variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, plant equipment, motors, and generators and performs manual and/or automated welding using resistance, electrical arc and open flame welding in natural or artificial atmosphere on all materials by performing the following duties.

What you'll bring

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
• Must have recent experience operating Electron Beam Weld Equipment.
• Technical Diploma or specialized welding certification required such as CRAW, CWI or CWS.
• Minimum of 8 years of welding experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand all drawings, written instructions, shop math and measuring equipment required to perform the job.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry and perform complex calculations.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to read and comprehend work and safety instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Requires demonstrated ability to read, comprehend and interpret highly technical publications, specifications, orders, sketches, and design drawings.
• US Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.
