About the role
Entegris is currently seeking a Welder to join our Advanced Purity Solutions Division. This position will be at our San Luis Obispo, CA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks related to welding components used in our Ultra High Purity Systems . This will include, but not limited to, tack welding, final welding with orbital or lathe welding equipment, tubing, and various fittings to engineering specifications . These tasks will be accomplished using tig welding, orbital welding, and lathe welding machines . This position is expected to always operate in a safe manner and comply with all applicable work instructions .
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0-2 years’ experience tig welding of stainless steel.
- Ability to learn to navigate through operating system to find, drawings and instructions.
- Focus on attention to detail to drive plant safety and product quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.
- Ability to learn how handle material responsibly.
- Dependability and flexibility to work over-time and weekends to support business.
