About the role

As a Senior Welder, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safe operation of our pipeline infrastructure by performing advanced welding activities, supporting maintenance and construction projects, and sharing your expertise with team members. This is an opportunity to apply your technical skills in a hands-on field environment while contributing to the safe delivery of energy across North America.

What you'll bring

• High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of directly related welding training and experience.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to maintain required welding qualifications and certifications for routinely used welding processes.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and thorough knowledge of safe welding and cutting practices.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while following established procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
• Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
