About the role
Responsible for welding materials to build vessels or components as specified by blueprints and work orders. Layout and use arc cutting equipment and fit up parts per engineered production drawing. Fabricate pressure vessels and other parts using GMAW and GTAW processes. This position is responsible for ensuring that all welding is completed with the qualified Weld Procedure Specification (WPS). To ensure that product is built to required code specifications and approved Engineering drawing. This role is based at our Fort Worth, Texas location and may be placed on our 1st or 2nd shift. This position will be on the manufacturing floor and will be responsible for utilizing the Kiosks located throughout the shop.
What you'll bring
- Required to follow and abide by company safety policies.
- High School or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in welding fabrication on ASME pressure vessel.
- Ability to use and read measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers and weld gauges.
- GMAW and GTAW certification in 2G and 6G positions.
- Aptitude to read blueprints and welding symbols.
- Strong oral and written communications skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficient personal computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to follow instruction provided by Leadman and Supervisor.
- Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices and procedures, as applicable.
- You will be required to work at the Company’s Fort Worth, Texas location.
