About the role
Loenbro is looking for experienced fabricators / welders to join our Dickinson Fab Shop team. We are looking for hardworking professionals who enjoy meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a background in welding to complete jobs for customers on time and on budget. Looking for long-term candidates who are looking for a secure and rewarding company to grow with. This position will plan, lay-out, weld, install, evaluate, and repair all types of steel structures in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, welding codes, and industry standards. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies. What you'll bring
- Minimum of 3 years of fitting / welding principles experience.
- Must have working knowledge of various welding codes and specifications.
- Must be familiar with properties of metal machining, weld shrinkage, and welding techniques.
- Welding processes most used are SMAW and FCAW.
- OSHA 10
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Welding experience in the construction, mining or related industry or prefer a two-year vocational-technical degree.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- High attention to detail.
- Must be a quick learner and motivated.
- Ability to travel and relocate as needed.
- Must be able to work as a team and solve problems.
