About the role
Great Basin Industrial is seeking experienced Field Welders to join our traveling construction team. This position performs high-quality welding on aboveground storage tanks, structural steel, piping, and other industrial components at project sites across the United States.
What you'll bring
- Minimum of 2 years of field welding experience in industrial construction, structural steel, or storage tank construction.
- Demonstrated proficiency with SMAW (Stick) welding
- additional welding processes as required by project.
- Ability to pass applicable welding tests and certifications required for assigned projects.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to designated reporting locations.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively for project assignments.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to successfully pass pre-employment and client-required screenings, including drug testing when required.
- Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, night shifts, or swing shifts as needed to meet project schedules and customer requirements.
- Experience welding aboveground storage tanks.
- Experience with structural steel erection or industrial piping.
