About the role

A sophisticated writer and seasoned legal storyteller to produce the high-caliber written content that builds and protects the reputations of Infinite’s law firm and professional services clients. This is a deliberately hybrid role. You are both a specialist writer and a client-facing public relations practitioner, assigned to accounts where you lead the most demanding written work while also contributing to media relations and communications strategy.

What you'll bring

  • A sophisticated writer and seasoned legal storyteller to produce the high-caliber written content that builds and protects the reputations of Infinite’s law firm and professional services clients.
  • This is a deliberately hybrid role.
  • You are both a specialist writer and a client-facing public relations practitioner, assigned to accounts where you lead the most demanding written work while also contributing to media relations and communications strategy.
  • Drawing on years spent covering the legal industry as a journalist or trade writer, or writing inside an AmLaw firm, you translate complex legal matters into clear, compelling prose calibrated precisely to sophisticated audiences.
  • You will take primary responsibility for our most demanding written work, including ghostwritten thought leadership and award nominations, and bring the editorial judgment that elevates every piece.
  • When content demand is lighter, you will flex into broader account support alongside your teams.
  • Ideal candidates will bring a minimum of 10 years of legal writing and communications experience, deep substantive knowledge of corporate legal practice and the business of law, and the client-facing polish to work directly with partners and chief marketing officers.
  • Exposure to corporate law firm marketing or legal public relations is a strong plus
  • experience in a marketing, communications or writing role within an AmLaw 200, and ideally AmLaw 100, firm is especially valued.
