About the role
Marymount University welcomes applications for the position of Athletics Bus Driver. This position will report directly to the Athletics Business Manager. The Bus driver is a part-time hourly position with the responsibilities of transporting our student-athletes, coaches and staff to and from practice and events that occur off campus. Adherence to institutional, conference, and NCAA Division III policies and procedures is required. Clean Class B CDL License with passenger endorsements is required. The candidate must be familiar with DOT rules and requirements. Please note that this role is in person based in Arlington, VA. Position will be open until filled.
What you'll bring
- Familiar with DOT rules and requirements.
- High School degree or GED
- Ability to read basic instructions, road signs and maps, and be able to keep a written log of activity.
- Strong communications skills including the ability to communicate by telephone/e-mail/text.
- Strong customer service abilities with emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Strong organizational & Time management skills
- Positive attitude with a professional appearance
- Willingness to learn and be coached as needed
- Licenses or Certifications
- Valid Class B CDL with passenger endorsements.
- Clean driving record
- Collegiate or scholastic transportation experience preferred.
