About the role
Panelmatic Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Fitter Welder. The Fitter Welder owns the complete build of a base — from drawing review and material layout through fit-up, welding, floor plate, and final inspection. This is a dual-skill classification: the employee must be able to read and execute the drawing package as a fitter and produce sound, code-quality welds as a welder. The defining expectation of this role is the ability to take a drawing package and independently produce a finished, inspection-ready base without step-by-step direction. Combination Welder/Fitters are the primary staffing unit for each fabrication line and are expected to identify and correct their own discrepancies before a base is considered complete.
