La Cross Dental is looking for an experienced Dental Assistant to join our growing team in St. As an experienced Dental Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting our doctors and clinical team while ensuring our patients receive excellent care.

What you'll bring

• This is an experienced position—prior dental assisting experience is REQUIRED.
• Dental assisting experience is REQUIRED.
• We are looking for someone who can step into the role with confidence, work efficiently alongside our doctors, anticipate the needs of the clinical team, and provide an exceptional experience for every patient.
• We are looking for an assistant who can confidently perform the responsibilities of the position without extensive basic training.
• Previous dental assisting experience
• Strong chairside assisting skills
• Experience with dental radiographs including PA's, Pano, and FMX
• Experience with tray setup, sterilization, and operatory turnover
• Strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental environment
• Excellent attention to detail and accurate charting skills
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the doctor and clinical team
