About the role
Introduction: This role of Maintenance Electrician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment within an industrial environment. This includes working with high and low voltage systems, motors, control panels, circuit breakers, wiring, and electrical machinery. This role requires troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical malfunctions, ensuring safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems. The Maintenance Electrician will work closely with other maintenance staff and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment, while adhering to all safety regulations and company standards.
What you'll bring
- High School education or equivalent
- Completion of an Electrical Apprenticeship program or equivalent industrial electrical training
- Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, including high and low voltage systems, industrial control systems, PLCs, and motor control centers
- Basic knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electrical (high and low voltage), Electrical troubleshooting, Control systems, Welding, Cutting, Fabrication, and General Mechanics
- Knowledge of forklift operations
- Ability to record data for maintenance records
- Ability to work with others in all phases of manufacturing
