About the role

AECOM is actively seeking a  Civil Engineer with 4+ years of waste water treatment related experience  to join our  team. This position is based in Honolulu, Hawaii, though we are also open to qualified applicants in other locations within the State of Hawaii. The successful candidate will support a wide range of civil design projects  associated with water and waste water treatment systems. You’ll be working on projects ranging from pump station and sewer pipeline design to grading, drainage, utility coordination, and construction administration  in a collaborative environment focused on technical excellence and innovation. This position requires a hybrid work schedule which includes in-office work in Honolulu. You will be part of a global team that champions your growth and career ambitions. What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 4+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
• Professional Engineer (PE) license  or ability to obtain within 6-12 months.
• Familiarity with  construction administration and QA/QC procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and site visits.
• preferably with a focus on water or waste water treatment projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
