About the role
Coffman Engineers’ Honolulu office is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in a consulting engineering environment. We are looking for a leader who works effectively with all personality types, is interested in developing close relationships with our great clients, and who desires to grow professionally and stay involved in the activities and exciting trends in the industry. The position will involve a mix of technical design and consulting, construction support, and new project scoping and proposal writing. We work in tight-knit teams that support each other and are managed with a healthy work-life balance that is focused on development and caring for the whole person.
What you'll bring

- Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- Minimum 10 years in consulting engineering field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC engineering
- Passion for great client experiences and design
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 45 years in business
- 850+ employees serving clients throughout the U.S. and overseas from more than 23 locations
