About the role

Ameresco is seeking a skilled and motivated DDC Controls Installation Technician II to join our operations team. This is an intermediate role responsible for performing installation, checkout, and basic troubleshooting of Direct Digital Controls (DDC) systems. This position requires a stronger technical skill set, the ability to work independently on routine tasks, and active contribution to commissioning and service work.

What you'll bring

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC, electrical, or building automation installation.
• Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, control wiring, and device installation.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Hands-on experience with point-to-point checkout and basic system startup.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems, wiring practices, and troubleshooting.
