About the role

The Writing Consultant III, under general supervision, provides advanced consultation and tutoring for graduate students. Provides one-on-one writing support to graduate students enhancing their writing skills. Manages a website with academic resources for graduate students. Collects annual statistics for reporting purposes.

What you'll bring

• – Bachelor’s degree in applicable field.
• Four years of related experience as a writer, editor, teacher of writing or public speaking, or tutor/administrator in a writing, speaking, or learning center, to include experience working with graduate students on writing dissertations and theses and facilitating writing groups.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Master’s degree or a minimum of 18 SCH at the graduate level in applicable field.
• Evening and weekend work may occasionally be required.
• Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions.
• Position requires maintaining a regular schedule of attendance on campus and in the workplace.
