About the role

The Compliance Manager will be involved in all matters encompassing regulatory requirements of various governmental agencies. This position will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the company’s established import/export compliance policies and procedures to ensure that Imperative Logistics LLC and Masterpiece meet or exceed the requirements of various regulatory agencies.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

What you'll bring

• Responsible for Internal Corporate Compliance Audit Program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for various agencies (i.e. CBP, FMC, Census, FCPA, TSA, CTPAT) and established business performance metrics in conjunction with the compliance team.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain or similar industry with 5+ years of experience in a management position.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent years of experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement application system solutions to support compliance objectives for both clients and regulatory requirements.
• Extensive knowledge of applicable governmental regulations.
• Experience working with various US international trade regulatory agencies including CBP, CTAP, TSA, OFAC and FMC.
• Industry certification including Licensed CBP Customs Broker License
• Some travel may be required to various branch offices, conferences and other related meetings.
• CargoWise / E2Open experience a plus.
• highly desirable.
