About the role
This is an opportunity to practice estate planning without the traditional billable-hour model, while working with high-quality clients, respected financial advisors, and a collaborative national legal team. The Estate Planning Attorney will guide clients through the planning process, lead virtual client meetings, advise on complex estate and tax planning issues, and help ensure each plan is thoughtfully designed, properly coordinated, and effectively implemented. This role is ideal for an attorney who is confident with clients, comfortable working with financial advisors, and interested in practicing at the forefront of modern estate planning.
What you'll bring
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing with at least one state bar.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in estate & trust planning.
- At least 3 years of advanced estate planning experience.
- Strong knowledge of estate planning, high-net-worth planning, and trust funding.
- Excellent client-facing skills, including the ability to explain complex planning concepts clearly.
- Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, drafting, and writing skills.
- Comfort working in a technology-enabled legal practice.
- Commitment to exceptional client service.
