About the role
The Middle Market Portfolio Manager Team Leader position manages a team of Middle Market Portfolio Managers. In addition to leadership and management of a Middle Market Portfolio Management team, this position has the primary responsibility of supporting Middle Market loan portfolios of one or more Relationship Managers. Analyzes financial information to evaluate the credit worthiness of loan requests. Compiles loan packages ensuring completeness and accuracy of information provided. Assures that all Middle Market loans are compliant with State and Federal regulations and Bank policies and procedures. Monitors and Services the Middle Market loan portfolios of the supported Relationship Managers. Other responsibilities include the supervision and delegation of work related to covenant testing and tracking, the loan annual review process and various projects. This position is expected to perform the specific duties, tasks, and responsibilities as outlined below:
What you'll bring
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial and industrial/Middle Market banking, business banking with at least 5 years of specific portfolio management and/or underwriting experience.
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of Federal and State lending regulations and Bank policies related to lending procedures.
- Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers.
- Experience working in syndicated loan transactions, private equity owned borrowers, monitored operating or asset-based lending lines, fund finance preferred.
