About the role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician in Reno. This position will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical inspection, start-up maintenance on the equipment we sell. This is a full-time opportunity for an energetic go-getter.

What you'll bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must have current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training plus 1-5 years’ experience working as a Service Helper or Service Technician in a residential or commercial environment.
• Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e., Smartphone, iPad)
• Electrical knowledge required
• Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and balance requirements of multiple and varied duties.
• Will be required to work in a field environment, multiple customer sites daily.
• EPA Certification Preferred (i.e., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.)
