About the role
The HR Specialist works under the direction of the Regional Human Resources Business Partner and is responsible for coordinating and executing the administration of key human resources programs, processes, and compliance functions. This role serves as a critical HR resource to employees, contractors, and leaders throughout the employment lifecycle. The HR Specialist plays a pivotal role in creating an excellent onboarding experience for employees and contractors while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant HR records. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven HR professional who can independently manage priorities, identify process gaps, and proactively drive work to completion.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Previous experience supporting HR compliance, employee onboarding, personnel records, credential tracking, or regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and proactively resolve issues.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong critical thinking, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive HR matters.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience working with HRIS and learning management systems.
- Experience with UKG and HealthStream preferred.
