About the role
This position requires an understanding of demand planning, scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory control. The SIOP Manager will work closely with the regional commercial teams for demand planning and provide feedback on forecasting accuracy, regional supply chain teams to develop sourcing plans to meet the demand, operations teams to cover workforce requirements and capacity planning, and Finance on revenue and inventory goals. The SIOP Manager is responsible for ensuring a consistent SIOP execution across the Milacron India business by coordinating and preparing data & material for monthly SIOP meetings that will facilitate cross functional decisions around demand, supply, operations capacity, and inventory planning and approved plans are executed to.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5+ years of Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Vendor Forecasting,
- Analytical and problem solving ability
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Support value engineering and localization initiatives
- Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP Systems
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics, Economics, Operations, or Business
