About the role
GEV Wind Power U.S. is seeking a Traveling Lead Service Technician to support service operations across multiple wind farm sites, with a strong focus on Siemens 2.3MW turbines and additional service projects. This role is ideal for an experienced technician who can lead teams in the field while maintaining high standards of safety, performance, and reporting.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience servicing wind turbines
- Must have strong experience doing torquing and tensioning
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a field service environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Ability to manage administrative responsibilities, including reporting and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and crews in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record (MVR required)
- Must be 21 years of age to be able to drive a company vehicle
- Must be able to proficiently read, write and speak English
- preferably Siemens 2.3MW platforms
