About the role
As LVT's manufacturing and inventory operations scale, we need an Operations Controller to own the accounting backbone behind them. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will own the accounting functions tied to inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records as LVT's manufacturing and inventory operations grow in complexity. This role requires strong GAAP knowledge, a meticulous eye for detail, and the ability to partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams in a fast-paced environment where problem-solving and efficiency are paramount. LVT is a flexible-first company, and this role is based in-office at our American Fork, UT headquarters.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a meaningful portion in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or manufacturing/plant accounting
- Technical Skills: Deep, proven knowledge of US GAAP as it relates to inventory, cost accounting, and fixed assets, with a strong understanding of standard costing and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and experience with a major ERP/accounting system.
- Mindset: Highly detail-oriented, accurate, and possessing superior analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort operating on the floor with Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams as well as at the desk.

- CPA or CMA certification (or actively pursuing).
- Prior experience supporting an Oracle ERP implementation, particularly the inventory and manufacturing modules.
- Experience with annual standard cost roll processes and validating BOM/routing accuracy in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience supporting a rapidly scaling, high-growth company.
- Previous people management experience.
