About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and lead the afternoon/evening shift. Hours are approximately 3:00 pm - 12:15 am Monday through Friday. Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, this position is responsible for on-time, complete, and correct shipments to all customers from the Ankeny distribution center. Assures timely material movement to and from packaging and processing areas. Directs workforce and utilizes equipment in the most cost-effective manner. Looks for continual process improvement while maintaining safety, sanitation, and GMP’s.
What you'll bring
- Inputs all data required for measuring warehouse throughput and performance in all key areas: loading, picking, tasking, prepack and pallet displays.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar field
- Three to five years of supervisory background in shipping and/or warehousing.
