About the role

Our Operations & Industry Solutions team is looking for a Financial Services Senior Consultant/Manager to join our Tāmaki Makaurau-Auckland office! You will be working directly with clients, including senior executives, across a wide range of private sector organisations to drive operational excellence and deliver transformational change. You will be reporting to Directors and Partners who will provide guidance and direction, while also supporting your learning and career development.

What you'll bring

• 4-7+ years' experience in consulting, transformation, operations, technology delivery or financial services, with experience gained in a professional services firm, insurer, bank, wealth manager or other regulated financial services organisation.
• Experience delivering transformation initiatives within financial services, including areas such as customer operations, claims, servicing, underwriting, lending, distribution, contact centres, risk or regulatory change.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, able to uncover the heart of problems, identify root causes and offer clear solutions.
• Proven experience leading teams and building trusted relationships with strong interpersonal skills and can gain the trust and confidence of those you collaborate with.
• The ability to translate strategic objectives into practical operational, process and technology change initiatives.
• Proven experience in building client relationships and identifying commercial opportunities.
• Ability to communicate, present and contextualise complex ideas concisely and accurately while adjusting style and tone to suit your audience.
• Experience working with enterprise platforms, digital technologies, data solutions or emerging technologies, with a strong interest in how technology and AI can improve productivity, customer outcomes and operational performance.
