About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of the organisation's analytical accounting framework by maintaining the cost centre and project structure, ensuring the correct allocation and reconciliation of income and expenses, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The position is particularly suited to professionals with strong accounting and financial closing experience who enjoy working with complex datasets, multi-dimensional accounting structures, and financial controls.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytical accounting, management accounting, project accounting, financial reporting, or a similar accounting-focused role.
• Proven experience managing multiple cost centres, projects, or complex analytical accounting structures.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial close processes, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Ability to identify accounting issues, financial risks, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Experience working in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders, entities, projects, or international environments.
• Experience using Power BI for financial reporting and dashboard development, while also possessing strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English (C1 level or above), both written and spoken.
• Experience with EU-funded projects and grant accounting.
