About the role

That's what BMAT Music Innovators is looking for. We're not looking for someone just starting out. You'll be joining the team that manages the complete lifecycle of our core data assets—millions of audio files and their accompanying descriptive data (metadata). The work involves designing, building, and maintaining the systems for data ingestion, processing, quality control, and ensuring this content is reliably served to our company's various applications and client products.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or similar role.
• Experience in Python
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Demonstrate adaptability and openness to feedback and learning opportunities.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute positively to team dynamics and foster a supportive work environment.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency in Catalan is highly appreciated, also in Spanish but not mandatory.
