About the role
Bingham Healthcare is seeking compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurses to join our Operating Room (OR) team. The Operating Room Registered Nurse delivers individualized, patient-centered perioperative nursing care through every phase of the surgical experience. Utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice, the OR RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional surgical care. This role requires strong critical thinking, attention to detail, clinical expertise, and a commitment to patient advocacy before, during, and after every procedure.
What you'll bring
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Current Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications highly recommended
- Current hospital nursing experience within the past five years or recent nursing graduate within the past two years
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Previous Operating Room or Perioperative nursing experience preferred
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
- Knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and sterile technique
- Ability to function as a circulating nurse during surgical procedures
- Understanding of anesthesia principles and post-operative care
- Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making abilities
