About the role
Bingham Healthcare is seeking compassionate, skilled, and motivated Registered Nurses to join our growing Observation Unit team. The Observation Unit Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care for patients requiring short-term monitoring, evaluation, and treatment. This position coordinates all aspects of patient care, including assessment, education, care planning, discharge planning, and transitions of care. Working within the Nursing Professional Practice Model and the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, the RN plans, implements, evaluates, and communicates individualized care while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, efficient, and exceptional patient outcomes. Observation Unit nurses care for a wide variety of medical conditions, making this an excellent opportunity to expand clinical knowledge while developing strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
What you'll bring
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
- Current Idaho Registered Nurse (RN) License required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple patient needs while delivering safe, compassionate care
- One year of RN experience preferred
- Previous Medical-Surgical, Observation, Emergency Department, or Acute Care nursing experience highly preferred
- ACLS and PALS certification preferred and required within one year of hire
- Experience with electronic medical record systems preferred
