About the role

As a Shop Technician, you'll be part of an exciting opportunity to work in a brand new facility, where you'll play a key role in refurbishing wind turbine components. This position is essential to our operations, giving you the chance to contribute to the success of our team while maintaining the highest standards of quality and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. This position requires work with a machine that cannot be operated safely if there are any ferromagnetic substances in or on your person.

What you'll bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months to 3 years of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or technical education.
• Knowledge of oxy/acetylene cutting processes
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changes on short notice.
• Ability to move and manipulate up to 45 kg (100 pounds).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• 3+ years of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or technical education.
• Experience operating overhead cranes.
• A degree in a technical discipline is preferred.
