About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate marketing professional based in Cairns or the Gold Coast who thrives on initiative, enjoys working across multiple projects and understands how powerful stories can shape customer engagement. You'll work closely with product, reservations, sales and marketing teams to deliver meaningful communications that connect travellers with some of Australia's and the world's most remarkable destinations. From crafting email campaigns and website content to guest communications, media support and campaign execution, you'll play a central role in telling the Coral Expeditions story and inspiring future travellers. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves travel, culture, history, nature and human connection—and can translate those passions into engaging content that resonates with our audience of experienced, curious and highly engaged travellers.
What you'll bring
- Experience in marketing communications, content marketing, PR or digital marketing.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Confidence working with CRM and email marketing platforms.
- Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to contribute ideas.
- A genuine passion for travel and storytelling.
- The ability to understand and engage with mature, well-travelled audiences.
