About the role
Wendel is currently seeking an Engineer to join our growing Water and Wastewater Engineering team. This position offers flexibility in the candidate’s location, and we offer a hybrid work schedule. This position is open in our Buffalo, Williamsville, Syracuse, Albany, and Rochester NY offices.
What you'll bring
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related fields is required.
- The ideal candidate has 6 - 14 years of experience in the water or wastewater discipline, however individuals seeking to leverage a broad portfolio of experience who are interested in becoming focused within the Water market will also be considered.
- Experience with hydraulics, municipal water and wastewater treatment plant design, process instrumentation and controls.
- Strong management and leadership skills.
- Willing to work outdoors in various weather at times.
- Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and be available to travel to job sites and client meetings.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
- Candidate should have their EIT but PE is preferred, experience and background will be considered in place of licensing.
- Working experience with CAD and REVIT (BIM) software is preferred.
