About the role
Koniag Operations Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Master Electrician with a TS/SCI security clearance to support KOS and our government customer in Charleston, SC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity. The Master Electrician will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical installations, maintenance, and repair operations across assigned facilities. This role requires a seasoned electrical professional capable of managing teams of electricians, ensuring strict compliance with safety standards, and leading electrical projects from conception to completion in accordance with industry, federal, and Department of State (DOS) regulations.
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid Master Electrician License issued by the appropriate state or local licensing authority.
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed electrician, with demonstrated experience in a Master Electrician or senior leadership role.
- Extensive experience in electrical installations, maintenance, and repair across commercial, industrial, or government facility environments.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret Clearance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment, including high and low voltage systems, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local electrical codes, OSHA regulations, and federal and DOS electrical standards and requirements.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of electricians.
- Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute electrical projects from conception to completion, on time and within scope.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex electrical system failures effectively and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and assignments simultaneously.
