About the role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support manufacturing operations and plant financial reporting. This individual will be responsible for manufacturing cost accounting, inventory and WIP reconciliations, cost analysis, month-end close activities, financial reporting, and partnership with plant leadership. What you'll bring
- 3+ years of manufacturing or cost accounting experience
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting, COGS, and cost allocation methodologies
- Experience with standard costing, job costing, or process costing
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Infor
- Strong month-end close and financial reporting experience
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Ability to explain cost variances and provide operational insights
- Experience partnering
- manufacturing or plant operations teams preferred
